These values drive my motivation, interactions with those around me, and decision-making.
Self-Growth
I am motivated by the potential to try and learn new things and to become a better version of myself.
Education
I am driven to both learn and help others learn. I believe that learning and teaching are two of the greatest joys in life and that technology is key to making education more enjoyable, personalized, and immersive.
Diversity
I believe that diversity of cultures, beliefs, personalities, genders, sexual identities, and backgrounds is essential in work and in life.
Intellectual Humility
I am always willing to learn from those around me. I know I don't have all of the answers. I prefer to acknowledge the shortcomings in my own reasoning than to appear overconfident.
Empathy
Putting myself in someone else's shoes allows me to truly understand their needs and build trust. Empathy prevents me from jumping to my own conclusions when someone deviates from my expectations, aiming instead to truly understand their side of the story.
Balance
I believe balance is crucial for a healthy mindset and lifestyle. There are times to slow down and there are times to give it our all. Overfocusing on certain aspects of our work or life is not sustainable and can lead to burnout. Similarly, unbalanced postures can lead to a less flexible and open mind.
